A decade after his banishment from his homeland, Viktor Kain returns to find it in ruin. A dark and ancient force has taken over all he once knew, and usurped his familial throne. His ancestral castle and the nearby village in ruins, Viktor now has until dawn to fight through and confront the leader of this dark army: Lilith.

He is not alone on his journey, as remnants of his past life and people who have managed to linger are ready to assist their true ruler back to the throne; but unbeknownst to them, Viktor is dealing with a force just as dark and powerful as Lilith within himself.

Will he succeed in waging a war against the forces of darkness in one night, or will the darkness overcome the lands he once called home?




This was the first game project that I began to write and piece together, taking elements of dark gothic fantasy, as well as imagery of heroism and impossible feats to form the beginnings of a humble idea that very quickly grew into one of my favorite projects. Inspired by some of my favorite creative works, drastic art styles, Roguelike video-game elements, and a touch of the dark narrative I enjoy exploring in creative works; Bloodline is shaping up to be a night to remember.
